WH Press Secretary Accidentally Reads WRONG Script

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre may have just had her most embarrassing moment in her already dreadful career. For the entire White House Press Corps, not just for her.
She started to look through that godawful folder of hers when asked a question concerning the Democratic Party primary, but she ended up giving the incorrect response.
A reporter questioned the press secretary about Sen. Jeanne Shaheen’s (D-NH) annoyance with President Joe Biden’s backing of the recent Democratic initiative to make South Carolina the first state in the Democratic presidential primary process during the briefing on Monday. In Shaheen’s opinion, this would place it ahead of New Hampshire in the primary process, making her state “dangerous for her party.”

When the journalist questioned whether the president had an answer for the senator’s worries, Jean-Pierre said, “So, look, we honor the Hatch Act, as I mentioned many times before here, as we are talking about a potential election, a 2024 presidential election. But, looking backward, it is the ultimate irony, you know, that the 2020 election was proven by the Trump administration’s Homeland.”
After laughing and remarking that she got ahead of herself there, Jean-Pierre realized she had been reading the incorrect response. She then began to rephrase the query after flipping a page on her desk.

Currently, only former President Donald Trump has declared his candidacy for the 2024 election. Ron DeSantis of Florida, Glenn Youngkin of Virginia, and Mike Pompeo, the former secretary of state, are a few further potential candidates for the Republican candidacy.
