Make A Wish Foundation Refuses to Grant Wish to Unvaxxed 4 Year Old

Scott Lobaido, a New York artist, lashed out at Make-A-Wish Foundation for refusing to care for his friend’s dying 4-year-old son.

Rocco, a terminally ill boy from Staten Island NY, wished to visit Mickey Mouse’s House to meet Mickey Mouse. However, the Make-A-Wish Foundation refused to grant the wish because Rocco was not vaccinated.

Scott Lobaido, a friend of the father was furious at the use of TikTok and used it to reach his 65K followers. “I received a text message from a friend here on Staten Island. His 4-year-old child — his sick 4-year-old child — was denied by the Make-A-Wish Foundation because he wasn’t vaccinated… at four years old!”

The Make-A-Wish Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c),(3) organization based in the United States, grants wishes to children aged 2 and a quarter years and older who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. Make-A-Wish is based in Phoenix.

Misunderstanding?

The Make-A-Wish Foundation has updated its policy. They have removed restrictions from wishes for unvaccinated children who have been given an end-of-life prognosis. The foundation’s Vaccine policy states that the company will not allow large gatherings or air travel for terminally ill children.

According to the policy, “Make-A-Wish has taken a decision to allow air travel and large gatherings to be allowed. This was done to protect the health and well-being of children suffering from critical illnesses.

According to the policy, restrictions on air travel and large gatherings are not lifted for children who have an end-of life prognosis or are vaccinated. Make-A-Wish Foundation refused the child’s wish to travel to Disney World because it involved an unvaccinated child taking part in large gatherings.
