FBI Director Confirms COVID Came From Chinese Lab

Bret Baier and FBI Director Christopher Wray had a conversation about the history of the unusual coronavirus.

Wray disclosed some startling details. He claimed, “The FBI has for quite some time now assessed that the origins of the pandemic are most likely a potential lab incident in Wuhan. You’re talking about a potential leak, from a Chinese government controlled lab that killed millions of Americans, and that’s precisely what that capability was designed for. The Chinese government, seems to me, has been doing its best to try and thwart and obfuscate the work here.”

Covid-19 may or may not have leaked out of the Wuhan lab, but all indications point to it having done so.

A national intelligence panel and four other agencies continue to believe that the epidemic was most likely brought on by a natural transmission, while two other agencies are still undecided.

The US administration has not come to a final decision and formed an agreement over the causes of the epidemic, according to White House national security spokesperson John Kirby on Monday.

On Wednesday, China criticized Wray’s remarks and declared that it was adamantly opposed to any kind of political manipulation of the truth.

“Based on the poor track record of fraud and deception of the U.S. intelligence community, the conclusions they draw have no credibility whatsoever,” Mao Ning, a spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, told reporters in Beijing.

The COVID-19 virus was initially discovered in Wuhan in December 2019, then it spread and claimed the lives of almost seven million individuals worldwide.
