Massive Power Outage – Power Stations Sabotaged!

According to the Moore County Sheriff’s Office, a significant power outage that occurred in North Carolina is being looked into as a possible criminal incident.

Just after 7 o’clock on Saturday night, almost 40,000 people were still without electricity.

According to Jeff Brooks, a spokesman for Duke Energy, personnel are dealing with many equipment failures at substations throughout Moore County.

They are looking into any indications of possible vandalism connected to the disruptions.

The sheriff’s office concurred with Brooks’ assertion.

Utility providers started responding to the various substations as they found evidence that many locations had seen deliberate vandalism.

Deputies from the Moore County Sheriff’s Office and other law enforcement agencies in the county responded to the various locations and are enhancing site security.

“I have spoken with Duke Energy and state law enforcement officials about the power outages in Moore County. They are investigating and working to return electricity to those impacted. The state is providing support as needed,” Governor Roy Cooper tweeted.
