Trump Pushes Back When Candace Owens Doubts The Vaxx

Candace Owens was chastised by former President Donald Trump after she claimed that coronavirus vaccinations are ineffective in protecting individuals against COVID-19. Trump praised the vaccinations’ safety and effectiveness, as well as the fact that they were developed in less than a year, in an interview with Owens, despite his opposition to government vaccination and mask regulations.

“The vaccine is one of the greatest achievements of mankind. “I came up with three vaccines, all are very, very good … in less than nine months.”  Trump stated that the pandemic without them could have been reflected in the staggering death toll from the 1918 Spanish flu.

Despite the fact that the vaccinations, which have consistently proved to be safe and efficient in preventing hospitalization and death, are readily available, Owens responded that more Americans died of COVID-19 in 2021 than in 2020.

Trump soon retorted, claiming that the greater death toll in 2021 was due to the vaccine’s purported ineffectiveness, rather than the other way around.

“The vaccination works,” Trump continued, “but some people aren’t taking it.”  “The ones that get very sick and go to the hospital are the ones who don’t take the vaccine,” he added, emphasizing that vaccination should be a personal choice for everyone.
