Whoopi Goldberg Issues Chilling Warning To Justice Thomas

When criticizing the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade on The View, Whoopi Goldberg gave a scary warning to Justice Clarence Thomas.

The host of The View criticized Justice Thomas when he pushed his colleagues to reexamine other important cases defending same-sex partnerships, marriage, and access to contraception.

“We were not in the Constitution either, we were not even people in the Constitution. And you better hope that they don’t come for you, Clarence, and say you should not be married to your wife, who happens to be white,” Whoopi said.

Justice Thomas stated in a concurring opinion issued on Friday: “In future instances, we should review all of this Court’s substantive due process decisions, including Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell.”

Thomas cited the case of Griswold v. Connecticut from 1965, in which the court invalidated a state regulation outlawing the use of contraception.

The Supreme Court ruled in Lawrence v. Texas in 2003 that governments cannot make private sex actions between consenting adults illegal.

Additionally, the court determined that same-sex couples had an equal right to marriage in Obergefell v. Hodges in 2015.

On Friday, the cast of The View voiced their fury with the Supreme Court’s decision to overrule the important abortion case Roe v. Wade.

In contrast to several of her co-hosts, Sunny Hostin declared on Monday’s broadcast that she personally opposes abortion in all circumstances.

She continued by saying that she opposes abortion even in circumstances of rape or incest.
