Whoopi Goldberg Apologizes Over Racial Slur

Many people consider Whoopi Goldberg to be a fervent lefty. She most likely promoted a Democratic talking point to everybody who has ever seen “The View.” She frequently criticized former President Donald Trump’s government and his personality when he was in office.

She calls herself a loving progressive and accuses others of being racist, yet her behavior belies such statements. In recent years, she has become involved in a series of controversies. She most recently had to apologize for using a racial epithet.

While discussing the Stormy Daniels/Trump situation on “The View” on March 15, Goldberg stated, “The people who still believe that he got, you know, gypped somehow, will still believe that he cared enough… about his wife to pay that money from his personal thing.”

Subsequently, Goldberg created a video apology, which was sent to the TV show’s Twitter account. She expressed regret for using the word “gypped,” a racial epithet against Romanis because of its link with “Gypsies.”

Goldberg attributed her comments to becoming older, adding that while she had used some terms as a child, she now realizes that they are inappropriate. She apologized profusely to the audience, saying she should have said “cheated.”

One of the questionable things Goldberg has said or done is the current statement. She had a number of problems, but her anti-Semitic rants on public television were the most notorious one. After the actress claimed the Holocaust wasn’t “about race” in 2022, ABC suspended her.

According to Goldberg, Jews and Nazis were both white. “This is white people doing it to white people. Y’all go fight amongst yourselves,”  Goldberg said.

Goldberg was reinstated on the ABC program following an apology and suspension. Yet it didn’t mean she had stopped making fun of others. In a conversation with The Sunday Times, Goldberg repeated her inaccuracies and insisted that the Holocaust had nothing to do with race.
