Kid Rock Blasts Bud Light For Partnering With Trans Activist Dylan Mulvaney

The revelation that transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney will be working with the Bud Light company sparked a heated response from Kid Rock.

The rock musician, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, 52, vented his annoyance on social media.

“Grandpa’s feeling a little frisky today. Let me say something to all of you and be as clear and concise as possible,” Ritchie stated in the video. He then pulled up a revolver and started shooting at cases of Bud Light beer.

Kid Rock ended, “F*** Bud Light. And f*** Anheuser-Busch. Have a terrific day.”

Since Mulvaney uploaded a video over the weekend announcing a collaboration with the beer brand, social media has been a hive of activity. The activist showcased a customised beer can in an Instagram video. Mulvaney stated in an Instagram story that Bud Light sent her “possibly the best gift ever: a can with my face on it.”

The influencer also tweeted a Bud Light promotional video with the hashtag “#budlightpartner” from the company’s NCAA basketball tournament promotional event.

Because the posts were published on April Fool’s Day, followers initially had no idea if they were part of a joke. But days later, the beer merchant released a statement confirming the collaboration.

“Anheuser-Busch works with hundreds of influencers across our brands as one of many ways to authentically connect with audiences across various demographics and passion points. From time to time, we produce unique commemorative cans for fans and for brand influencers, like Dylan Mulvaney. This commemorative can was a gift to celebrate a personal milestone and is not for sale to the general public,” an Anheuser-Busch representative said.

The announcement of the alliance sparked calls for a boycott of the Bud Light line as well as all Anheuser-Busch goods.
