CDC Director Throws Fauci Under the Bus
Former CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield stated in March 2021 that he thought a laboratory release of SARS-CoV-2 was the most likely explanation for the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition, as a virologist, he thought it was scientifically improbable that the virus had such a high rate of human-to-human transmission during the initial epidemic. Nevertheless, he made it clear that this did not necessarily suggest any purposeful behavior.

Redfield claims that Dr. Fauci barred him from meetings.
“I also expressed as a clinical virologist that I felt it was not scientifically plausible that this virus went from bats to humans,” Redfield said on Wednesday.
“Why do you think you were excluded from those calls?”
Refield replied, “It was told to me that they wanted a single narrative, and I obviously had a different view.”
“Do you think the paper does hide the truth?”
Redfield answered, “I think it’s an inaccurate paper that was basically a part of a narrative they were creating.”
