Biden Trolled By Chinese State Media

After a top White House economic advisor said that Americans will have to pay more at the pump to sustain the liberal international order, President Joe Biden on Saturday urged gas station operators to lower their pricing.

On Saturday, the national average for petrol was $4.82 a gallon, but in California, it was over $6.25.

The fourth month of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine has been attributed by the Biden administration to rising gas costs. As long as it takes for Ukraine to overcome Russia, American motorists will have to put up with high gas prices, Biden told reporters on Thursday while in Spain.

Oil corporations have also come under fire from the White House for allegedly artificially constraining supplies by refusing to drill on government-approved leasing areas.

Chinese official media mocked the president when Biden demanded that oil corporations reduce their pricing.

“My message to the companies running gas stations and setting prices at the pump is simple: this is a time of war and global peril,” Biden said in a tweet.

“Bring down the price you are charging at the pump to reflect the cost you’re paying for the product. And do it now.”

Chinese official media mocked the president when Biden demanded that oil corporations reduce their pricing.

Director of the National Economic Council Brian Deese backed Biden’s claim that until Russia is defeated, Americans would have to pay high gas prices during an interview on CNN on Thursday.
