Biden Bans Muslim Democrat From White House

Democrat Mayor Mohamed Khairullah of New Jersey has alleged that he was denied entry into the White House for an event with President Biden, which was held to celebrate the yearly Eid al-Fitr festival. According to a report from NorthJersey.com, Khairullah was already in Washington when he received the news of his exclusion from the event. He expressed his disappointment and disbelief, stating that such occurrences were surprising considering the principle of presumed innocence until proven guilty as outlined in the Constitution. Additionally, Khairullah mentioned his lack of understanding regarding the reason behind the treatment he experienced.

The Secret Service confirmed on the same day that Khairullah was prohibited from participating in the celebration. However, Anthony Guglielmi, the chief of communications for the U.S. Secret Service, stated that they were unable to disclose the reason behind this decision.

Khairullah, a long-standing member of the Democratic party and the mayor of Prospect Park for 17 years, was taken aback by the news that he would not be permitted to attend the event, especially since he had assisted White House staff in its organization.

The leader of the New Jersey chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) criticized the White House for rescinding Khairullah’s invitation to the event, deeming it as “wholly unacceptable and insulting.”

Khairullah has reportedly encountered discrimination before, as this recent incident is not an isolated case. In 2019, it was reported that he was detained at JFK airport for a period of three hours after returning from a trip to Turkey.
